WOULD YOU TRAVEL FOR MY WEDDING AND HOW DOES IT WORK ON YOUR END?
Of course! I'm based in Los Angeles, but I take on a select number of destination weddings and elopements a year. I want to make it as easy as possible for you so I will book my own travel and accommodations, and all you’re responsible for is the total rate. Please connect with me for more detailed information.
CAN WE MEET IN PERSON BEFORE THE WEDDING?
Yes, during the engagement shoot! This is a great time for us to hang out and get well acquainted. Otherwise before booking, we can chat via email or hop on the phone or FaceTime, up to you!
YOU'VE NEVER SHOT AT OUR VENUE BEFORE, IS THAT GOING TO BE AN ISSUE?
Not at all!
Shooting at new locations keeps things especially fresh and inspiring. Bring it on...please! I always scout locations at least the morning of to come up with the best plan of action and to find all the secret spots that will contribute to making your photos amazing!
HOW MANY PHOTOS WILL WE RECEIVE?
I deliver about 50-80 photos per hour. So anywhere from 500-800+, based on my set packages. I believe in quality over quantity, while delivering a number of images you can cherish!
DO YOU OFFER PRINTS AND ALBUMS?
I currently offer prints, yes! I have access to high quality printers with precision color matching and pixel sharpness even when images are blown up. I’ve made it super easy to order prints, straight from your delivered online album.
I refer my couples out for developing their wedding albums, as I have found that my couples enjoy producing their own down the road.
WE/I ARE AWKARD IN FRONT OF THE CAMERA, HOW DO WE SHAKE IT?
Most of my couples say this!
Truth is, when you are with your favorite person, this nervous feeling will go away! My goal is to make you feel comfortable and tap into who you are together, so we can get those genuine shots! As long as you trust me, remember why we are taking photos, and are willing to let loose and not get caught up in, "where do I put my hands, and am I doing it right?", it'll be awesome. Trust me.
DO WE NEED A SECOND SHOOTER?
I am used to working alone and capturing everything to the best of my ability. I only sit down during my quick dinner! I like to be involved in the day-of schedule, and this is where I help ensure I will not miss any important moments. However, there are many situations where I strongly (sometimes require it to make sure the day goes smoothly and your coverage is exceptional) recommend you add on a 2nd: If sunlight is limited, or you have more than 150 guests, or there are a lot of details, or we’re traveling to multiple locations, or you have things happening at the same time, or you’re not doing a first look etc.
Feel free to ask my opinion based on your specific day! As your timeline gets mapped out and more details fall into place, this can also be something we determine down the road (up to 2 months before the wedding).
CAN I GIVE YOU A SHOT LIST TO WORK OFF OF?
I would be happy to work off of a written shot list for family formal portraits only. I have photographed enough weddings that my "shot list" is a mental one and not tied to specific poses. While I don't mind entertaining any ideas that you may have, I believe that a check list will limit my ability to document your day in a candid, journalistic manner that reflects my style as genuinely as possible. With that said, we will go over what is important to you (such as particular people, special events, surprises etc).
HOW MUCH RETOUCHING DO YOU DO?
I edit images for the images themselves, but I do not alter people or your surroundings. I think it is important you do all you can to look the way you want to be photographed. I do not retouch for power chords, clutter, or fix ruffling dresses. I recommend doing the best you can on your end to hide what you do not want showing. A more specific example is body insecurities or cosmetic issues such as pimples, blackheads, clean nails etc. I recommend both women AND men, take the extra time to consider flattering clothing, makeup, facials, manicures, spanx or the like. I will help you look your best during our shoots and instill confidence, but there are solutions beyond editing and it will save us all time, effort, and worry to deal with them before the pictures are shot!
HOW DO YOU DELIVER OUR IMAGES?
On a lovely online gallery. This is where you will download all your high resolution, fully edited, ready to print photos. I don't offer albums, but I can recommend places that you can create your own beautifully, easily, and affordably.
HOW DO YOU DECIDE WHICH IMAGES TO DELIVER?
I deliver every suitable image to you. There is no reason for me to withhold anything from you that you will enjoy. Each wedding is different and some provide more photo opportunities than others, which is why there is a wide range of images you could receive. The images I don't deliver are either not flattering, someone is mid-blink, someone is eating, it’s a duplicate shot, the technical side of things was not up to par etc. There are A LOT of factors that provide more or less images- whether or not you hire a great planner, beginning of the day moments, getting ready spaces, interactions with people, bridal party, details, first look, amount of time for bride and groom images, amount of guests, flow of day, how much time is spent eating (I don’t take photos of people eating), lighting, reception events, dancing, cultural events etc. These are all things to consider while planning your day!
WHAT PACKAGE OPTIONS ARE AVAILABLE? HOW MUCH DOES EVERYTHING COST?
After photographing 100+ weddings I have found that each couple and their needs are different. This is why I customize proposals based on what you’re looking for and may need. This does not mean that you need to know every detail in advance, which is why you can always add onto your packages through the process, just not take away. Let’s connect!
WHAT DOES THE PROCESS LEADING UP TO THE WEDDING LOOK LIKE AFTER BOOKING?
I have a Wedding Tip Booklet I share with my couples with tons of info on how to get the best photos possible, this is something you can review through the process. I would love to help you and your planner with the photography timeline up to 4 months out, to help ensure your day will be photographed flawlessly! I am available via email through the process and we will hop on the phone up to 2 weeks before your wedding to review some last reminders and logistics so we can hop right in on the day!
WHEN WILL WE RECEIVE OUR PHOTOS?
Couples shoot- in up to 6 weeks. Wedding/Elopement- in 6-8 weeks and my goal is always sooner!

WHAT IS REQUIRED TO MAKE IT OFFICIAL?
A signed contract and a 50% retainer, all of which can be done online!
